Services Provided

Riftline PC offers the following services:

  • Custom PC building and assembly
  • Parts recommendations and consultation
  • Troubleshooting and basic diagnostics
  • PC upgrades (when compatible parts are provided)
Riftline PC does not sell computer parts directly. All components are purchased by the customer.

Customer Responsibility

By using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your budget and build requirements
  • Purchase all recommended parts unless otherwise discussed
  • Ensure parts arrive undamaged and in working condition
  • Keep all receipts and manufacturer warranties
If parts arrive defective or incompatible, additional build time may be required.

Build Fees & Payment

  • All build fees will be clearly communicated before work begins.
  • Payment is due upon completion of the build, unless another arrangement is agreed upon.
  • Build fees cover assembly, cable management, installation, testing, and labor — not the cost of parts.
Riftline PC reserves the right to request a partial deposit for complex builds.

Warranty & Support

Riftline PC provides a limited workmanship warranty covering build-related issues that result from assembly, including:

  • Loose cables or improperly seated components
  • Other assembly craftsmanship issues

This warranty does not cover:

  • Manufacturer defects in parts
  • Malfunctioning parts unrelated to assembly
  • Damage caused by overclocking, misuse, improper transport, spills, or power surges
  • Damage from third-party repairs after the build
  • Software issues unrelated to the initial setup
Component warranties are handled by the part manufacturers. Riftline PC can assist with the process but is not responsible for manufacturer decisions or delays.

Turnaround Time

Estimated build times are provided during consultation but may change based on:

  • Shipping delays
  • Missing or defective parts
  • Customer communication delays
  • Build complexity

Riftline PC will keep you updated on progress and expected completion dates throughout the process.

Data & Privacy

If you request data transfer or drive reuse as part of the build:

  • You are responsible for backing up all important files before drop-off
  • Riftline PC is not liable for data loss, corrupted files, or drive failure
  • Sensitive personal information should be removed before the machine is dropped off
We never share your personal information with third parties.

Limitation of Liability

By using our services, you agree that Riftline PC is not responsible for:

  • Damage caused by faulty or defective parts
  • Loss of data
  • Software bugs, operating system corruption, or user-installed programs
  • Future hardware failure unrelated to the initial build
Riftline PC's liability is limited strictly to the cost of labor performed.

Photos & Marketing

We may photograph completed builds for social media or portfolio use. If you prefer your build not be photographed, simply let us know before or at drop-off and we'll respect that.

Agreement

By requesting or receiving services from Riftline PC, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service. If you have questions about anything here, reach out before your build begins.
